What supplies do I need?
You will need a light blanket, a pillow and/or changing or yoga mat. Since classes are done in your home you have the convenience of having all your babies supplies handy. Natural massage oil is provided for you.
What if I need to feed my baby?
Try not to feed your baby 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to class. I will try to schedule your class at a time that does not interfere with feeding and sleeping but as we know babies are not predictable. You are welcome and encouraged to feed your baby whenever he/she is hungry during class. It will not disrupt the sessions in any way if you need to stop at any point to feed your baby. We will work around it.
What if my baby falls asleep during the session, or is asleep when the instructor arrives?
It is fine to leave your baby to sleep during the session. You are able to practice on a 'massage doll' while your baby is sleeping, or you can simply observe the massage strokes and practice on your baby when he/she wakes up, or during the next class.

What if my baby cries?
It is completely fine if your baby cries during the class. You can be assured that all of the babies will cry at some point during the classes! I want you and your baby to feel as relaxed and happy as possible, if this means stopping the massage for you to feed your baby, reassure him/her, or give him/her a cuddle, then that is what you are welcome to do.

What age is good to start massage for my baby?
Massage can be introduced from birth through adolescents. My lessons are geared for babies from birth until they start crawling but can be modified for any age. if you wish an older child or sibling to attend class with your baby this is fine as long as another adult is present to attend to that child's needs.
